Local dive sites

Stingray (1)
A single coral tower rises from a sandy bottom at around 12m depth. This dive is suitable for both novice and experienced divers, beneath the tower are a resident group of 6 large Stingrays which give name to the site. During winter dolphins are often sited.

Lonely reef (2)
Big Lionfish’s, Morays and an old spotted grouper inhabit this great reef. The depth is around 20m.

House reef (3)
Under the main coral edge at 8m this site becomes a vertical wall full of soft corals and fishes with an average depth of 20m.

Turtle garden (4)
This spot at around 25-30m depth is populated by many big bottle sponges and is often visited by huge green turtles.

Mushroom (5)
A very small coral rock can be found here surrounded by an extensive array of reef fish and ideal for photography. The depth is around 18-20m.

 

The big stone (6)
A huge coral stone lies in around 20m and is covered by resident glassfish, large table corals with lobsters hiding underneath are also to be found here. Dolphins are also often spotted.

Rindomas Tilla (7)
A good diving spot for both novice and experienced divers with lots of reef fish species including Fusiliers, Angelfish, Parrotfish, Snappers and unicorn fish. The maximum depth is around 20m.

Dongwe pass (8)
Ideal drift dive for the more experienced due to strong currents in the pass. Big groupers and predators such as Barracuda and Kingfishes are sometimes seen. Depth around 18m.

Dongwe channel (9)
Ideal dive for novices following the natural channel with a sandy bottom and surrounded by the coral walls and schools of Glassfish on either side. Maximum depth around 12m.
