The dive center is located in Karafuu hotel.

On the 1st of October 2006, Karafuu Hotel has taken back the management of the dive center. We wanted our dive center to have the same quality that has given Karafuu hotel such a good reputation.

For this we have invested in quality new equipment (here) and above all in a team completly dedicated to our custumers.

Karafuu hotel dive center is a DAN member with comprehensive insurance.

Being a DAN member will guarantee to you that:

  • In the event of an emergency DAN coordinates the first aid and assistance through an international network of highly specialized alarm centres
  • DAN has recently opened the East African Recompression chamber right here on the island (here)
